Best Golf Courses in Kelowna

Golfing in Kelowna runs in the season between snows, so usually somewhere between March and November. Different venues cater to everyone from casual beginners to career golfers seeking one-of-a-kind courses.

Voted the number-one local golf course in Kelowna on Tripadvisor, so expect something special.

While challenging (especially if you can’t tear your eyes from the westward view of Okanagan Lake), this full-length course features friendly fairways that let you really swing it without suffering the consequences.

You’ll also find award-winning service to write home about, a golf academy for those whose game needs tweaking, and a tantalizing pro shop.

Why settle for 18 holes when you can have the choice of 36?

Choice A is The Bear. Hilly shade and high-up greens eventually give way to wider, flat fairways studded with menacing bunkers and sand traps. Bring your best game, as architects Nicklaus Design are world leaders in course design.

Choice B is The Quail. Start in the forest and slowly emerge into stunning Okanagan Valley vistas. This course features elevated tees, wide fairways, and greens that will furrow your brow, all designed by Les Furber.

As well as the pick of two pristine courses, you can also find events, tournaments, and daily fine dining hosted here.

Predator Ridge Golf Resort

Named after the birds of prey that make the Okanagan their home, this resort packs in two full courses, a golf academy, practice facilities, gourmet dining featuring local wines, and overnight accommodation.

The Predator course is one of Canada’s hardest games. Designed by Les Furber, it has been putting golfers to the test since 1991.

Alternatively, the unique design of The Ridge provides tricky shots and panoramic scenery.

Even though this course is closer to Vernon, we think staying at Sparkling Hill for a few nights and golfing at Predator Ridge is one of the best things to do in Kelowna as it gives you an incredible taste of the full Okanagan experience.
