Fintry Provincial Park offers 360 hectares of camping ground and wilderness exploration across the historic Fintry Estate area along Okanagan Lake. With more than two kilometers of waterfront area, this park offers room for everyone both on and off the water.
Outside of the direct camping zone, Fintry Provincial Park also includes another 3100 areas of protected land, making it one of the largest and most distinctive parks in the area. As if that wasn’t enough, the Fintry area also offers a second, completely different topographical area courtesy of the Shorts Creek canyon. It’s essentially two parks in one trip.
Higher areas in the park include wildlife like bighorn sheep and deer, while old-growth cottonwood trees offer plenty of shade across a diverse elevational gradient. Sanitation stations and hot water showers are available for cleanliness, while a children’s playground offers entertainment for guests a bit too young to enjoy the other attractions.
Camping options at Fintry Provincial Park include 158 vehicle-accessible areas, including three extra-large group sites. Reservations are accepted for most sites four months in advance, or group sites one year in advance, while cold water is available from taps throughout the park. A paved boat launch and floating dock area support boat access.
