Best Salmon Arm Breakfast/Brunch

Trish’s Country Kitchen Restaurant

Salmon Arm Breakfast Trish's Country Kitchen

With its laidback atmosphere and classic menu, Trish’s Country Kitchen Restaurant is one of our favourite Salmon Arm restaurants to dine at for a simple breakfast. It’s slightly harder to find than alternative eateries as it’s tucked away in the industrial part of town. However, once you’ve scoped it out and sampled a dish or two, you’ll be telling everyone you know to try this veritable hidden gem!

If you’re fuelling up for a day of sightseeing in downtown Salmon Arm, you can choose from a selection of Bennys, sandwiches, omelettes, and salads. Although the Bennys are probably the most frequently ordered items on their menu, it’s unlikely that you’ll be disappointed with anything you choose!

What to order: Anything on the menu, but we’d say that the Bennys are your best option!

Jane’s Place

Best Salmon Arm Restaurants: Jane's Place

Housed inside the sprawling Mall at Piccadilly, Jane’s Place prides itself on offering excellent, fuss-free food for every occasion. Serving breakfast all day at exceptional prices, it’s unsurprising that this eatery continues to see impressive numbers of patrons passing through its doors each morning.

The décor at Jane’s Place is comforting and unpretentious, and you can easily wile away a couple of hours here without being moved along. If you’re poring over the menu and can’t decide what to try, we’d say that the Meat Lovers Breakfast is an excellent place to start. Although this won’t be suitable for everyone, the two eggs any style served with bacon and farmer’s sausage promise to fill you up for an afternoon on the trails.

Looking for something slightly more Canadian? Try out the Buttermilk Pancakes served with delicious maple syrup and super-smooth butter. Available in stacks of two, three, or five, you can dial up your dish depending on your hunger levels!

Whether you’re here to casually take in the local food scene or prefer to chow down on your breakfast in record time, at Jane’s, you’ll be perfectly placed to do both.

What to order: The Meat Lovers Breakfast or Buttermilk Pancakes!

Little B’s Pizzeria

Salmon Arm Pizza Little B's PizzeriaWhether you’re partial to a brick-oven pizza or can’t get enough of Donair, you’re bound to find the pie of your dreams at Little B’s Pizzeria. Run by a charming mother-daughter duo, this adorable, family-operated business has been running out of the Old Courthouse in Salmon Arm since 2021.

Although they’re relatively new to the game, these two pioneers bring a unique vision and plenty of fresh ingredients to the Salmon Arm restaurant scene. Word on the street? They’re completely nailing it.

Not only can customers taste the difference when it comes to the freshness of their garlic butter, BBQ, or marinara bases, but this restaurant offers gluten-free and cauliflower speciality crusts for those with allergies or specific dietary requirements.

You can choose from their “create-your-own” menu, but we highly recommend opting for something from their Gourmet or Specialty menus (as we couldn’t get enough of the Pesto Chicken, Slammin Arm, or Chicken Cordon Swiss Pizzas!). However, with upwards of 20 different flavour combinations on the menu, you can’t go far wrong with anything you choose.

What to order: The Pesto Chicken, Slammin Arm, or Chicken Cordon Swiss Pizzas.

The Night Cafe Salmon ArmLooking for a café with a difference? If so, head down to The Night Café on Lakeshore Drive. Located inside an artists’ studio, the menu here is as creative as the venue itself!

As you might have guessed from its name, this restaurant caters to night owls and is open between 4 pm and 10:20 pm from Wednesday to Saturday. Regarded for its relaxed atmosphere, gorgeous décor, and incredible mood lighting, this is the place to be if you’re travelling to Salmon Arm as a couple.

Despite only being on the restaurant scene since 2020, this vibrant downtown joint has quickly established itself as one of the finest party spots in town. Although you shouldn’t come expecting a radical club vibe, the impressive cocktails, occasional live performances, and downright dreamy food make it an up-and-coming eatery that’s bound to tick all your boxes.

While you’re here, be sure to sample the Nutella Strawberry Crepe. Perilously thin and packed with more lashings of Nutella than you thought possible, it’s the ultimate foodie indulgence. Ironwood Restaurant & Lounge

Regarded for its excellent service, top-tier facilities, and breathtaking scenery, the Ironwood Restaurant is one of Salmon Arm’s finest choices for dinner with a view.

In case you had trouble finding this place, it’s tucked inside the Salmon Arm Golf Club. This makes it an ideal option for a post-tee lunch or dinner! If you believe the early bird catches the worm, why not grab a scenic breakfast before hitting the green?

The restaurant boasts an excellent core menu, but you’ll find several seasonal picks being advertised on a specials board throughout the year. If you’re visiting on a Tuesday, peruse the restaurant’s ever-popular “Taco Tuesday” menu. This weekly deal offers diners a great discount on fish or pulled pork tacos, and it’s an excellent way to save money if you’re trying to navigate Salmon Arm on a shoestring budget. For something smaller, the soups and salads should be your first port of call!

If you have a couple of hours to spare, it’s worth sitting on the patio with a cool cocktail and drinking in the atmosphere. Not only will you get unbeatable views of your surroundings, but it’s a prime spot for decompressing after a tiring day of exploring (while getting slightly tipsy in the process!).
