An Overview of Crystal Cove Beach Resort
Crystal Cove Beach Resort is located near Tofino on MacKenzie Beach and the resort is a very popular spot for those hoping to enjoy Vancouver Island’s beautiful ocean views.
Since it was first opened as a campground in the spring of 1979 by Hector Bodchon, the resort has not stopped expanding. Bodchon fell in love with the resort and the surrounding area’s natural charm, and so he set out to build three sturdy log cabins with remarkable sea views that could be used all year round.
Just 15 years after the first log cabin was constructed, Bodchon decided to sell the resort to two couples who promised to finish what he had started, and that’s exactly what they did.
Now, this year-round resort offers 34 log cabins, 60 RV sites, and 10 Fifth Wheel RV Glampers for those that don’t have their own RV.
