Set on the western coast of Vancouver Island, Bella Pacifica Campground offers both old-growth forests and gorgeous beaches to visitors. Most of its camping locations are limited to four people each, but the park occasionally makes exceptions for larger families.
This campground features about 190 regular spots, as well as a few special locations, located in several distinct areas. 18 of the campsites are directly beachside, while many others include good ocean views. Amenities vary significantly by section, so make sure you check the rules and options for each section before reserving a spot.
Entertainment in the area includes access to over ten kilometers of beachside enjoyment at Long Beach, while the nearby Pacific Rim National Park Reserve offers a robust rainforest ecosystem. Steaming hot springs in the area provide a rarer opportunity for relaxation, while ocean entertainments like kayaking and surfing provide a different type of fun.
On-site facilities include three large washroom buildings, all of which have flush toilets and pay showers. Somewhat unusually, this park also features free Wi-Fi access, while the managers live on-site and can provide quick responses in case there are any emergencies. Dogs are welcome in this park but must remain on leashes.
